Over the years, he garnered valuable experience through his collaboration in masterclasses with Brigitte Fassbaender, Christoph Prégardien, Dorothea Röschmann, Thomas Quasthoff, Graham Johnson, Anne Le Bozec and Susan Manoff, among many others.
As a scholarship holder of the Heidelberger Frühling Lied Academy 2023/24 under the artistic direction of Thomas Hampson, he performed at various venues throughout Germany as part of an intensive one-year support programme, including the Pierre Boulez Saal Berlin. In addition, Lucas Huber Sierra is a recipient of the “Lied the Future” scholarship of the Schubertíada Vilabertran and a former Leeds Song Young Artist, as well as a member of the mentorship programme Exzellenz Labor Lied in Villecroze.
After his early musical training in his hometown of Madrid, Lucas Huber Sierra studied at the music universities in Cologne and Lübeck with Josef A. Scherrer and Konrad Elser, as well as in the Lied class of Wolfram Rieger at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin. There, he worked for several years as répétiteur and tutor for the vocal studio of Prof. Stephan Rügamer.
Since the summer semester of 2026, Lucas Huber Sierra has been a lecturer in Lied interpretation at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold.
